Born From the Darkness
Born from the Darkness
By Elaine Roy
I was born in the darkness, with a broken heart
Were very thing around me, left me shriving in the cold
As, I walk through the storms, put a upon me
It was there, pieces were taken from my heart
Just as I felt, the last tear roll down my cheek
The pain that hurt me, so deeply; now made me numb!
Than, I meet you!
I reach out my hand and you placed it over your heart
You told me, that I found my way home
With the last piece of my heart; you gave me a piece of yours!
From all the cold darkness I have ever know
It was your heart that show me the light of hope
I cried and then wept ; as you held me in your loving arms!
I was not alone anymore
I found my Home; were my heart got warmed
I could feel again!
Were, all the darkness and pain; now changed into peace
I smiled and heard my own laughter for the first time!
I had a family!
I wasn't an orphan, any more!
I was no longer told that I was bad and ugly by others
Instead was told by my family; I was beautiful and good
Were others had beat me and abuse me
My family gave me kisses and hugs
I learned in my life, that hope is just waiting to be found!
I found mine and hope you find yours!
