Born Anew

< inspired by the song, "Afro Blue"

From distant lands, stars of the soul,
I hear the drums' beats unfold.
Friends of the light, midnight hue,
Gold of the night, born anew.

His name is Sun, her name is Moon,
intertwined in notes, a lovely tune.
Friends of the light, midnight hue,
Gold of the night, born anew.

Two energies in this place,
harmonizing sacred space.
Traveling through all time,
seeds of universal mind.
Friends of the light, midnight hue,
Gold of the night, born anew.

Cosmic shine through the skin,
we learn to sing the ancient hymn.
Friends of the light, midnight hue,
Gold of the night, born anew.

This reads like a lovely chant you could hear over a campfire. A song the ancients would have loved.
