Born Alone

If there are worse
Things,
Than being alone,

Why do we remain,
Exposed,
To suffocate from self-
Restrain,
Trying to look sane,

If there are worse
things,
Than being alone,

Why do women stay,
Beaten,
Confused,
Lied to,
Rejected my men,

If there are worse
Things,
Than being alone,

Why do boys try
so hard,
To be men,
To be accepted by
father figures,
That are not

If there are worse
Things,
Than being alone,

Why do we stay,
In a world of hate,
Disgust,
Hope eating blame,
Flesh consuming pain,

Why do men lust for
Whores,
For one night of love
One night of resent
One night un-meant

If there truly are worse
Things,
Than being alone,

I'd like to know them,
Because in a world like this,
We are all born
Alone

It is truly torturous to try to understand the human condition. Very nice work again!
