Bored with nature, I spurned the gay meadow Stepped on ladybugs, swatted butterflies Turned my back on creation Complained of blue skies Scorned the sun’s rays, ridiculed the moon On a picture-perfect day said, “Go away, June” Opened my device to see what I’d missed ~ A heart-stopping photo of a lake bathed in mist
