Boots In the Sand

While Americas are enjoying their freedoms,
Sipping their wine and enjoying their time...
She's in a foreign land
With her boots in the sand

She doesn't complain
She just does what's right preparing to fight
Protecting our liberties
Across war-torn cities

Each day she makes the world a little brigher
Securing the peace that's no easy feat
She does it with a smile
Only resting a little while

So back at home we are free to pray
And enjoy our life without any strife
Because she takes her stand
With her boots in the sand
