Blush of Dawn

From Heaven's height comes lucent light Spectacular skies of a sanguine sunrise Where peace prevails as men set sails Upon swirling seas amidst a balmy breeze As Dawn displays her dappled haze With a florid flush of rouge toned blush May 24th, 2022 Bite Size Poem no. 44 Contest Hosted by Line Gauthier

Ah, this is absolutely superb writing, Jenna. I loved the rhymes in each line. And, as you probably know, I love the seas, so this is my kind of poem. Good stuff!

My favourite time of day, I love the dawn and the amazing colours it brings, then the spark and the golden orb appears, the beginning of a brand new day. Tom

Very nice! Nothing but gray out the window this morning, but we got much needed rain here.

Thanks, Jeff. Rained most of the night here, but a gentle drizzle at the moment.
