gently picked her up with tears
buried her in God's firmament so soft
noticed her shimmering soul, fly aloft

A potent and poignant poem, Panagiota. I was swept up in its sad beauty, especially with the simply stunning last line. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

Nicely done my friend. A wow, but I do hope it is not true. I have never even SEEN a real bluebird.

Put your mind to rest_ this was fictional only. My Poem about Lucey is real. Thank you for reading my attempts as growing as a poet. You have been a steadfast friend Panagiota

Blue-tifully done! You covered so much ground in just four lines, a whole short story's worth really. Two thumbs way up! (And congrats on supplanting me in the #3 position on the Top Community Poets Ladder!) Best always, Gershon
