My goodness, wonderful. Such a fortunate puppy. I could spend the day reading your Haikus. What a delight! Sincerely Brian

Brian, I hope that you will try some other's haiku as well for there are a number on here who can outshine mine. Sara

My dog has yet to eat bluberries, probably because I hog them all first. As for my "Tie for Soup"poem, it's what my mother used to say when I was a boy. Yet I have seen some ties so badly stained with food droppings I don't have doubts you could boil them for soup – if hungry enough. / Maurice

Maurice, Those fresh blueberries are delish. It is amazing what dogs like and don't like. I have a chihuahua that likes Halos(tangerines). Sara

Kathy, It is always amazing to see what they will and won't eat. Some foods they should not have are chocolate, raisins, grapes, onions and garlic. There are some more in which there is one kind of nut but I can't remember what it is right now. Thanks for the visits. Sara

Kim, I think most dogs do love watermelon. I guess they like sweet water like humans. Sara

Your photo covers your verse.. all I see is , " ready to be picked for a pie... tail wagging dog eats." Love the idea that even a dog will eat them, but not my dog.

Jack, Thanks for all of your visits. I appreciate you dropping by. The blueberries are right on a dog's level when the ones on the lower part of the bush come ripe. Sara

PT, We learn as we go along what they like and what makes them sick and what they will not eat. Don't feed chocolate, raisins, onions or garlic for starters. Mine prefer home cooked meals but I never know if they are getting a balanced diet. Thanks for dropping by. Sara
