Blue Sunday

Blue Sunday raindrops drumming on my window
the pitter patter clutters my restless mind
Blue Sunday empty moments full of sadness
when does the pain of heartbreak decline

When your alone and lonely
your heart won't give you peace
Nothing to eat, no time for sleep
just four walls the company you keep

Smoldering embers your tear drops can't quell
deeper and deeper into despair you dwell
If only I? But why didn't I? How could I...
over and over memories you can't deny

Blue Sunday and a glimpse of a smile
your finger on her number frozen by fear
Blue Sunday is that a rainbow ?
press it and her sweet voice you begin to hear...
