Blue Skies, Blue Eyes

A quiet cove with mangroves Sitting in beach chairs "That sounds wonderful," you say But in my dream we both were there I don't recall that much detail Other than to say Our feet were cooling in the flow Of lapping waves that day The shadows started to lengthen The sun began to fall Hand in hand in silence We watched the curtain call The last thing I remember One single thought comprised I was thinking as I kissed you, "She's got the most incredible blue eyes!"
