Blue Shawl

Blue shawl unfurls
Furls spreading white fringes
Waves covering the cold shore

Strong haiku with a nifty shift in the third line. I like the shawl to sea image. (Metaphorically, the cold shore suggests frail, female shoulders - but I may be way off base). So well penned, Carol. Cheers, Brian
