Blue Moon

My hands tremble and my heart runs free every time I see you walk by me.
I love you with a passion that cannot be replaced yet I cannot tell you face to face.
I only see you once a year and dream every night that you are holding me near.
I look up towards the stars at night wondering if this love is right.
You ask me about my latest love and I tell you that a gentleman has stolen my heart,
But when you ask me for his name I cannot say that it is you and I don’t want us too ever
part.
Angels speak of love in my ear.
But once you’re gone I cannot stop the tears.
There is a blue moon in the sky and I am as lonely as can be.
All I wanted was to tell you how much you mean to me.

Sad tale. Well written. Nice job, Stace.
