I enjoyed this very lighthearted haiku, Daver :)--just an extra "l" on that last "fly"--btw for that Roundabout sijo of mine--yup that plan definitely backfired! thanks for all your comments --nikko :)

Daver this is as unique a Haiku as I've ever seen. You should enter this gem in a contest. Smile. Agape, Moses

Daver, I thought I may have not had enough room in the first post. I like your poem about your cat, Ebony and his love for tuna. It’s interesting because I only have dogs, but they adore tuna as well. What is it about tuna that they love so much? Sometimes we put a little tuna into the regular dog food to make it tastier. I also like your beautiful Haiku about blue jays. We have many of them on our tree farm in Canada. Love, Amy.

Dear Daver, thanks for Reading my poem. I haven’t seen the movie you mentioned, but I would like to. I think I have found someone with similar tastes at last. I adore Monti's Czardas and all Czardas. Also love the violin and balalaika. Music like that is fantastic, and it was a Czardas that inspired this poem. :) See next post.

Sweet, Daver, I did one very similar to this with the word "fly" but I talked about crows that were all covering my back yard and they rose up as one when I opened the door and flew away! Soupmail
