Blue Eyes and Pain

You sit there with a blank look on your face I'm wondering what brought you to this place In which you have allowed yourself to sink and dwindle into I walk over to you and I put my arms around you You shrug off the hug and push me away I don't know how to get you to stay You appear to be so happy however I know the real you. I know the pain and hurt within I've seen it before my friend Behind those blue eyes Behind that smile I see it I see the pain I see the hurt I see the blame I see the shame We've all been there before Just on opposite sides of the door Sometimes we fall and we can't lift ourselves from the floor For the pain is too much I'm here always I'm here yesterday I'm here today I will be here all the tomorrows Don't go through this pain alone
