Blue Daisy

BLUE DAISY

I'm a daisy, a pretty flower
blooming in different hues is true
I can be yellow, pink or white,
but my loveliest colour is blue.

A daisy has many uses,
I can make a pretty bouquet,
or placed in a hospital vase
to brighten a sick person's day.

There's times that I've been so hurt,
my petals being plucked apart,
'he loves me, he loves me not'
to find meaning of the heart.

Whether in a bouquet or plucked,
in a vase for people to see.
but though there are other colours
I'm proud a blue daisy to be.

I'd bet my broken can opener, you're prettier than a blue daisy:) Sweet write, Vivien.
