Blue

How did you get up there? Up there in the sky so fair?, Between the tree's bare limbs Behind where the cloud skims How did you get down here? Down here and along the pier?, Under the waves of ocean's deep Into the tides roll you creep How did you find my birthstone? Born within a light, airy tone?, I find you buried in aquamarine Azure, sapphire, turquoise, cerulean Beautiful, bold and blue Not just simply a sad hue, The calmness you bring, I savor it How did you end up my favorite?

I love this poem, Kelly :)) Blue has me hypnotised and fascinated. How must it have been when the astronauts saw the first Earth rise? Our whole planet calling out to the universe in blue hues, and we only saw it for the first time: https://pixabay.com/photos/earth-space-stars-hold-grab-4496172/
