Blue
Leaves the color of your eyes
Might not exist, but in the skies
Above the earth such blue
Spans the globe, and so there's you
Always there, wherever I am
Blue is so beautiful and I say yes ma'am
To the question, "do you really want me around?"
If I had my choice you'd always be found
Right there beside me, whatever I do
My truest companion is a bird that is blue
I'm just a romantic down deep in my heart
And I would romance you aside and apart
From all the routine that a normal day brings
And I'd willingly choose you for all sorts of things
To share all my passions for music and more
Who knows what togetherness would have in store
