Blossom

Light pink rose petals
turning dark pink.
Beautiful flowers that
smell of spring.

Roast beef cooking slowly
while we wait to meet happily.
We eat the roast beef,
all the family gathered up again.

We celebrate, we laugh.
Making jokes we spend the day,
in spite of the meat being tough everybody ate enough.
We were more than we've expected,
such a wonderful meeting.

It was not as we waited,
but much more that we could have expected.

Waiting for cherry trees in blossom,
we can not wait for another day that awsome, but we know it will be coloursome.
