I'll have to tell you about my niece's goth wedding sometime - what a blast! I tend to gravitate toward the alternative types, (and Asians), but I've always been the black sheep of my fam, (big shock there, lol), and the fav uncle with my tats and gold hoop earrings, (out of style, I know). Getting a new half-sleeve soon, my design of decaying guitar turning to butterflies ... I'm going to write a poem and post the photo, I think. LOVE this write and fav-ing. Blessings! <3

Maureen, I'm not a deep reading fellow; in fact I tend to throw myself into other's poetry meaning my own meaning and not what was intended. I love the idea of Goths hanging out at a bar, and I suppose they are the black sheep of their family. We're you a red haired goth Maureen. All your wonderful tattoos, and getting to know you just from comments and conversational comments. To me this poem is solid. As it stands without intended meaning. 4-7-4 sylabically. I'm stupid. Did I miss the obvious?

Of course at the bar, the dancing. The goth days, red, blonde or black, mostly. No numerology, just my flow. I do appreciate the symmetry. I hope 'stupid' is isn't stupid as in toxic self talk. That's a beast. I'm tickled with this one. I hope Anthony likes it. I think writing small can have an element of a lot more hit or miss. Thank you Jeff!
