Bloodthirsty Night Stalker

by Joseph Christopher Liguori and Robert James Liguori ________________________________ Are you safe from intruders living on the tenth floor of a high rise? Not as much as you would think, just a word to the wise. There is a certain species that will still come to your home, Wandering up the walls, at night they will roam. Food is what they seek, as they scale high and low, Looking all around, in each and every window. Your best defense is having lights that flood, As they feed on one thing alone, your pulsing blood. A silver stake may come in handy, That is, if you are not at first, their delicious candy. So play it safe, grab a hammer and some nails, For a boarded window, seldom fails! Monday, October 25, 2021
