Blood, Tears, and This Beautiful Dagger

Dagger, dagger, pierce my heart, as she begins to fade. I'm fataly attracted to your brilliant shining blade. I wish to hear her voice again, I wish to see her face, Dagger take me to the place I'll feel her sweet embrace. That brilliant edge it tickles me Breaking through my skin, Dagger all I wanted was to see her face again. My blood it spills on over, It trickles down my arm, The thickened substance comforts me. so bright and oh so warm. My old tears fall to hell, The heavens send me more, On my knees I scream allowed: "The doing of the Lord?" Im quick to gain my senses, the pain it fades away, I stop once more and then I think:" She Didn't Cry Today". **when writing this poem, I had in mind a special friend whom I was afraid of losing .. forever... i knew i couldnt handle seeing her lifless body, so i wrote this poem in hopes shed stay a while**
