Blood Red

Blood Red Night Darkness devours the light. All those who said they'd fight now cower before the Blood moons might. Dreamless slumber. Nightmares, millions in number. Insanity creeps, while no one sleeps. Shadows rise and Magick in infinite supplies, So many lives and deafening cries. The Holy men pray while those that follow them pay. Light has gone away and the edges of my mind fray. From the path, I had to stray and with the demons, I had to play. They all jump to assume the worst even though deep down they have the thirst. I accept my fate, I know I am cursed. My fears you nursed. I couldn't take anymore, So I burst. Blood Red Night, it no longer brings me to fright. I gave up my Light so I could learn to fight and quell my appetite. It's not my place to judge and blame. But through ridicule and shame is how you all now sit with fame. It's because of all your lies and spite that pushed me to gain this sight. Within the Darkness, I ignite. While you hide with your ill earned pride I will be outside, with them, I ride. With you, I tried I confide. I cried. You're not anything without your Light. Darkness always comes, it's at your gate. Those you gave everything are not here to protect you and it's already too late. This world is beyond repair, YOU are in despair, and YOU sit there saying life isn't fair. Did you EVER wonder WHEN it was I learned YOU DIDN'T CARE?
