Blood Rain

Blood Rain, it pours
it kills the dead
it stains the pure
and hits like lead

Blood Rain, it scares
it breaks the heart
it shatters dreams
and rips apart

Blood Rain, it masks
the one true fate
a glimpse of what
we can't abate

Blood Rain, don't hide
it's not worth your time
it will drown you, fill you
without reason or rhyme

Blood Rain, it comes
down from creation
a horrid mark
of a bleeding nation
