Blood On the Moon

Look upon the blood on the moon
Something bad coming soon
Moving fingers so blood red
Before the night's over one will lose their head

Dreams of death we must endure
To have babies born so innocent and pure
Dreams of life come upon thy bed
Means before the days over one will be dead

Oh Moon. So beautiful and big
Not quite full shaped like an egg
On the horizon way down low
As if not to know which way to go

So bright suspened in the air
For all to look and see who care
Raptured by it's beauty too long
Quiet and eerie with no birdsong

Blinded see which way not to turn
Capture it's essence while the soul yearns
Under the light of the blood on the moon
Something bad coming soon
