Blood Moon Beauty

Aglow she sits and smiles down at Mother Earth; illuminating the dark night sky. Her crimson skin blushes and I watch as she spins into blood; her centrifugal body hides behind shadow; her palette…orange to crimson rouge. A celestial waltz; the dance of the heavens; Venus is jealous tonight.

Ahh the once in a blue moon blood moon, that's what this reminds me of. As a lunarlover I admire this heavenly marvellous sijo. Your wording is great n artistic too. I replied u on ashurah poem. Cheers.

Very descriptive work..I don't see many moons at night for I don't go outside much at night but sometimes I see the moon at daybreak and sometimes I see it in the sky during the day..Thanks for your visit to my page..I appreciate you stopping by, reading and taking time to comment..Sara
