Blood Moon

Blood moon embraces the night
Flaming sky crimson glow
Words spoken end in sight

Darkness taking over a dying light
Dreams rest on a cloud of doubt
Blood moon embraces the night

Searching for souls wrong or right
As the silent night surrounds
Words spoken end in sight

Blessed words reviled so bright
That sat souls afire
Blood moon embraces the night

Holding tight souls take to flight
Filling hearts and minds
Words reviled end in sight

Somewhere a peaceful height
Crimson sky did shine
Blood moon embraces the night
Words reviled end in sight

Thank you for your comments, and thank you for the offer to enter your contest. I love writing poetry. My boss got me started when he thought it would be benafical for me to take some english classes. What turned out to be something to help me in my job, turned out to be a love of writing poetry and my way of talking to God. Thank you for your support, Karen

Thank you, so much for your comment. 5 years ago I was told I had cancer. I started writing poetry, It made me feel good, I t was my way of talking to God. They now have my condition under control. I like writing poems, I may not be the best poet, but thats alright, if my poems reach out to someone, that makes me feel like I have acomplished something. Thanks new friend, Karen
