Blood Language

When the barrel speaks,
crimson thoughts
are expressed non-verbally

Scarlet tones
perforate the air
with ballistic shrieks

Coroner syntax
are arranged in morgue sentences
of alphabetical autopsies

When the barrel speaks,
violent desires
are sated in silencer reverie

Blue steel fiery emotion
be coldly exclaimed
by stained tongues trigger happy

Solemn whispers
is the universal language
spoken with rigor mortis affinity

This is beyond beautiful, Freddie, strong language to showcase an even powerful truth, brilliant:)

'When the barrel speaks -- scarlet tones...blue steel fiery emotion...solemn whispers...' You've pointed your revolver to the stripped-away-of-sentiment Truth of the tragedy. Brilliantly penned, my friend. Healing and Hope, Gershon

A difficult topic with polar opposite beliefs. I wish our countries could find some balance.

WoW! Freddy, I have truly missed your talented pen. I echo what Silene One said. I hope to see you posting more, my friend-Alexis

It is saddening how much guns mean so much to many but ultimately it is fear that makes one wish for it... great write and esp like the end stanza :)
