Blood Dosn'T Make Family

Have you ever met somebody
That you can go to when you're angry
Sad,depressed or even lonely
Who will hold you in their arms
Like a mother holding her baby

They're not even related to you
They don't care what you've been through
They never juge you
All they ever do is help you

They would give you the shirt off their back
If they needed too
They would drop their plans in an instant
If you needed them

They would miss your presence
If you were absent
They would never hold it against you
If you were distant

All they would ever do is be there for you
Care for you, listen to you and help you
When no one else seems to give a dam
You know they got you

Those people are your family
Don't you ever forget that
Don't you ever take that for granted
Friends like that only come around once in a lifetime

Remember blood dosn't make family

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
