Blindness

Blindness he sees only darkness through his one eye denying my love and stroking his pride what a waste his life has become keeping him distant, alone, and glum why can’t he see this beauty he stores instead the curse of blindness he endures what evil dragon struck him down and made him believe himself a clown my ginger angel with tattered wings it is for you my lonely heart sings my love could mend his broken wounds and reveal the light he keeps entombed he hides himself from all who stare especially from those of us who care
