Blinding Light

A blinding light and then it goes dark.
I'm floating up way over the park.
The blue turns to black, what has begun?
not in control, nowhere to run.
A light in the distance is pulling me near,
and yet I feel calm, where is my fear?

It's warmer now, I'm beginning to sweat
what was my name? i start to forget.
Now my memories have almost gone,
that very first kiss that went horribly wrong,
that bully that beat me until i would bruise,
at least that's a memory I'm willing to lose.

and as I draw closer to that beautiful sight,
I wonder what's beyond that blinding light?

Wow, this one will really make the reader think! Very will written drawing the reader right into the story as if they themselves were floating there. Awesome work. Smiles from Lolita
