Blind But Now I See

Sunshine from the heavens, golden rays that angels ride. Nine months for your smile, when infant eyes open wide. Those tiny little fingers wave, that pinch parts of my nose. Dearest Grace, the ticklish one, brushing softly along your toes. Life would always pass me by, those highway routines no more. Until the clock stopped ticking, for a princess I could not ignore. Pinks and purples for my girl, a hundred butterfly kisses too. The world of googoo-gaga speak, playing with your Winnie the Pooh. Welcome to your newest home, this room where you will sleep. Under stars and moon like shapes, where you can count your sheep. The months are drawing nearer, our thoughts will be complete. Such love awaits your presence, that nothing tastes as sweet.
