Blessings For My Daughter
My daughter, you are my firstborn,
My might, the first sign of my strength,
Excelling in honor, excelling in power.
Turbulent as the waters, you FOREVER excel,
For you are blessed by the Most high God
Marvel your generation will praise you;
Your hand will be on the neck of your enemies;
Your world will bow down to you.
You are a lion’s cub, Marvel;
You return from the prey, a might lioness.
Woman of Virtue here you are
You will reign and lead
You will prosper and
Your boundaries shall enlarge again and again
You shall be a haven for ships;
Your borders will extend always
How good is your resting place my dear child
How pleasant is your habitation
You will provide justice and give counsel to many
All the time the Lord shall deliver you
Your a warrior my little deer you will conquer all the time
Marvel your food will be rich and it shall always be i plenty
You will provide delicacies for nations
With liberty you will build and enjoy the fruit of your labor
Great Eaglet shall you sow
Might lioness Shall you roar and reign
Marvel your a fruitful vine,
A fruitful vine near a spring,
whose branches climb over a wall.
You flourish like a tree by the river side
Because of your father’s God, who helps you,
Because of the Almighty who blesses you
With blessings of the skies above,
Blessings of the deep springs below,
Blessings of the breast and womb.
Your father’s blessings are great,
Than the blessings of the ancient mountains,
Than the bounty of the age-old hills.
Let all these rest on your head my daughter Marvel
All your life all your days
Marvel Shekhinah Muhereza
Joyful Glorious Giver
I bless you in the name of God
Almighty bless you constantly
Again and Again
