Notes About The Poem

Blessings and Curses

blessing
                           sacred, divine
          canonizing, sanctifying, extolling
endorsement, warrant, malediction, profane
         vilifying, blaspheming, tormenting
                     wretched, damnable
                                   curse

                                    hope
                        desperate, cheerful
            cherishing, reviving, encouraging
      faith, expectation, desperation, anguish
                  feeling, drowning, dreading
                          profound, terrible
                                   despair

Beautifully designed and written. I love these when they are well done. And yours are exceptionally well-done!

Welcome back, Edward. Splendidly done-- as words transition--from blessing to curse, freedom to captivity, hope to despair.

Love the creative layout Edward and how you morphed from one to the other. Hope you had a nice holiday. Tom
