Blessed To Be Blessed
nothing matters when i am here
all my cares are left at home
nothing disturbs me when i am so near
i am blinded by this beauty as i freely roam
i never thought about the thrill of you by my side
as i walk in a new foundation chapter
i never expected that it would be with you when i found my new stride
and smile my new smile thereafter
we have had many new experiences together
ever since the cold night we first met
we have overcome the tough times and many changes in the weather
for once in my life i have memories with no regret
now here we are in awe and admiration
at a view once affordable only on an ad
there was once a time when we were trapped in the confines of a sad duration
now, however, we are blessed with this breezy freedom and oh so glad
