Blessed Continual Hope -Psalm 71: 14
Resolutely determined in hope
filled with a real purposeful will
to look and look and keep looking
till the Lord spoke with voice so still
That voice so full of authority
able to make you give Him praise
being to you a faithful friend
as you follow in all He says
In your walk with this awesome God
you find such closeness simply divine
as you experience His saving hand
being so secure making you shine
So in all of this comes your praise
you spread forth glory from your tongue
giving it all to the Lord of glory
heavenly tunes that you have sung
A blessed continual hope
that's your praise all in accord
filled with all of God's spirit
giving back to your blessed God
( "But I will hope continually, and
will yet praise thee more and more.")
