Blessed Be Thy Father

Blessed be thy Father
Who sent to us His only son
Teaching us of His ways
Showing us that we all are one
He gave to us His precious love
Asking us only to love each other in return
If a man should do wrong by you
Only the other cheek shall we turn
If we choose the path of the righteous man
Eternal life we can share
Not much does He ask of us
Only to show each other that we care
Should your brother stumble and fall
Lend to him a helping hand
Should you become lost and confused
Do your best to try and understand
Keep your faith and stand so strong
Your beliefs will get you through
And when the days grow long and hard
Pray to Him and ask Him what to do
This life is ours
But we shall never be alone
So live each day to the fullest
Until your Father chooses to call you home

The End
