Blessed

Blessed from the Lord above
Sacred by mankind
Unconditional passion
Man has failed to find
Offers you everything
Nothing in return
Always there to guide you
Never leaves you burn
Watch your step, don’t fall
She whispered yesterday
Take my hand, stand up tall
Told me this today
In times of empty of sorrow
Holds back her fear
Rises like a mountain
Wisely starts to hear
Her love is like the ocean
Overflowing, vast & wide
A peaceful calm shelter
From wind, rain & tide

Never go to bed mad, stay up & fight
For you don’t know what tomorrow brings
That’s what she said
You’ll never be a wise man
Unless you face your fears
Listen to me son
Tomorrow I’ll be gone
That’s what she said

Your secret’s safe with her
Your first crush & date
She taught you how to love her
Don’t drive her home too late
A rare special diamond
Unique in its own way
Endless care & tender
Growing day by day
How did you do it all?
Be a teacher, cook & friend
Yet find time to drive me
Just can’t comprehend!
Taught me how to walk
Cross the streets, be safe
Washed my clothes daily
Learn how to behave
A poem & a quote
Or thousand words I wrote
Cannot describe you deeply
You’re worth my life, I thought
O Lord for I’m your servant
Protect her, grant her health
She yesterday prayed for me
And now I’m someone else
I’m blessed from GOD to have you
You’re my number one
My soul mate, my companion
I love you so much Mum!

Never go to bed mad, stay up & fight
For you don’t know what tomorrow brings
That’s what she said
You’ll never be a wise man
Unless you face your fears
Listen to me son
Tomorrow I’ll be gone
That’s what she said

Hi Sameh, one should live and learn. I like the way you express something we take for granted everyday. We never know if tomorrow will ever come. Thank you for inviting me on over. My heart enjoyed reading your uplifting words.. Thank you always~ LINDA

You're welcome Linda.. It just feels like a bless to have a mum while we do think that things she's doing are for granted.. If you remove just one thing of what she's doing everyday, you'd feel it & shout like crazy! It's a blessing which we have to thank GOD for.. Thanks for your comment.. Sameh
