Blessed

Love flows gently Like blood through my veins Stained windows in the church Kneeling behind heavens' panes Dressed in a suit People all around Dying child stands before us Congregation on the ground Blessings from the tongue Prayers leak from the teeth It's in God's hands With a beautiful belief Trauma from the heart As it pounds through my chest Illness stolen from his body A boy who's now blessed
