Bldg 7
I stood on the edge of the world trade center
believing I was an architectural member of the whole
I often wonder why I am not remembered
why my demise is never recognized
why my story is never told
as the people gather at the foot prints of the twins
my ashes linger on their lips
for I am the question still unanswered
I am the piece that doesn't fit
I am the wrench in the machinery
they would like you to forget
I was never struck by aircraft
there is no memorial to replace me
I am not mentioned in the 911 report
instead they have erased me
Bldg 7 fell free fall speed
on September 11,2001
Brother to the twin towers
Never forget
ask questions
