---Blasted Cherries

blasted cherries
splatter the pavement bird dropping…
bloody tell trails

15 syllables yes, the modern way to write a haiku is NOT to focus overly on the syllable count, simply UNDER 17 and short long short....

Enjoyed reading your Haiku, Debbie! And thank you for your kind comments! Only the second line is a bit too long. an first and last line too short. Have a great week ahead!...Love, Gert

Deb, I can really relate to this. I had a tree that dropped so many horrible plums, it was very annoying. This would have been a riot if you'd had the cherries covering dead ants or something. Hearts bleeding for bloody ants. haha. I enjoyed this. Andrea
