Blast From The Past

When I first set eyes on you
I was thrown back
to a time when I was on a bumpy track.

I still recall that time of slippers
and bouts of jitters.
It was a phase
where I was lost in a maze.

Now I close my eyes
to cut the ties
to a past
where I was stuck in a blast.
