Blanket
Rifles rattle,
Armies battle
On the plain,
Getting glory,
Grief, or gory
Colored pain.
Conscripts giving
Up their living
For a patriotic bed
That is bag-shaped,
Shrouded, flag-draped:
Blue, white, red.
