Blank Pages
A lone palm tree near the beach
Sometimes groping for something in sky
Some other time coming down on the ground
Seek frantically a lovely eye
Eyes do come but palm stays calm
On the beach smile bottles of rum
A lone river towards the ocean
Gazing above at the floating cloud
In between a vast vacuum
Aspiring to sing aloud
No sound resonates in the voice box
Quick passes the grey sly fox
There are times when the river leaves me
Robbed of all chime air is paranoid
Page after page keeps crying empty
Lost into barren blue, moment annoyed
Getting into thick crowd broadens the void
So sitting alone with dark Pink Floyd
A solitary mind on a desolate road
A solitary pen to a full blank page
A lonely heart bearing hollowness loud
A bird of forest locked in a cage
In a vase of flowers despair and rage
The ship gets no ground for anchorage
Helpless shadow of chin on knee
Lonely lonely and mere lonely
