Blank Page

I’m so drained
I have so much to say
But at this stage
All I have is a blank page
I want to write
Something so deep
That will knock you
Off your feet
I’ll keep fighting
To show you
My best writing
Words that will be
enlightening
Electrifying
And exciting
Big parts of me
For all to see
About life
And pain
The sights
And experiences
I’ve seen
Make you
Feel the rain
That pours from my
Soul and brain
Etched in stone
The grain of myself
Never refrained
Burning forever
Everyone saying
How clever
Just need
To dig deeper
Finding some relief here
Give you
Poems of fear
Romance
Second chances
My first dance
Which left me entranced
By the body electric
So eclectic
My favorite song
The first time
I made love
All night long
What I know about
Right and wrong
Making every ear
Hear my history
Solve the mystery
Of my deepest
Sanctuary
The dark side
That dwells
My inner hell
Which rages onto lives
Pages
Creeping out in stages
Rhymes
That are sublime
Never to be vain
Always sustained
In my own picture frame
I’ll keep writing
But now I’m so drained
Seething in a rage
For all I have
Is this blank page…
