Blank

Blank empty page
Freckled with age

Words do not come
No ink stains sum

Blank but not white
Odd years recite

Smell of vintage
In odd mintage

Blank empty grain
Nothing speaks plain

Words not yet writ
No savvy wit

Zero strokes brief
Blank page owns grief

Sad with old age
This journal page

Lonely blank stretch
No ink stains catch

Blank as before
Dust freckled bore
