Blackbirds On Her Arms

She has blackbirds on her arm
flying from scar to scar.
Covering the pain-all in vain
While singing black word songs.

Her destiny- a stormy mind
tossed about tranquility
in the howling waves of time.

Lanterns in the mist
, gems of scattered hope
drift into the abyss...
She has blackbirds on her arm.

The deep, dark beauty of your Haiku is captivating, Anthony. Amazing imagery. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
