Black Roses

Black roses Crumbling With every touch Breaking down my walls Loving you so much Longing for those three words You'll whisper in my ear But you still have yet to say them In months Or maybe years Love is unpredictable Just like you You're different than the others No lies Only the truth Black roses The fruity scent is gone But I still keep them in a china vase Hoping that you'll return And wipe the frozen tears from my face
