What exactly made you go cheat?
Didn't you realize that you had more than enough love, between these, our sheets?

What exactly made you tell those lies?
Why make yourself the snake, who she then became to despise?

What selfish pride was this?
Now our relationship, all on the fritz!

Didn't you know her love was faithful and true?
Didn't you know her love is real?
That she wanted, needed, more than just a spontaneous thrill?
That she is, for you, the real deal?

Now you must watch IT, her fall apart, after sampling IT, then crushing her whole entire heart.

What are you going to do?
Will you try to recovery, fix this, or just say
I've been caught in this act, now I'm through?

Maybe she'll just decide to walk too.
But I forgot, Black Man, she really loved you.
Maybe, she'll just forgive you!
