Black Ink

Where would I be? If there had never been a you and me I would be on my own The thought of you unknown You were there on my darkest days The sunshine through all of the haze More the once in a while You would give me that amazing smile And with that mischievous spark in you eye I thought I was going to die When I felt I was going to drown You’d keep me up, never let me down Then I went and screwed things up I was a jerk; I made a slip up Now I need some time to think And clear the page of this black ink You say you are willing to stick around Until all my thoughts can be found Then maybe we can try once more Maybe it will work better then before...
