Black Footprint

This title makes me think of a baby's first signature to her parents after birth
                   Memories to treasure
This title makes me think of my race and the continent of Africa
They call it the dark continent
History is the footprint that trails us
This title makes me think of me, of us
And the shadows that sometimes blackout our lives.
